A trio of handpainted (by me!) fursuit eyes. The two on the right are earmarked for upcoming projects and the ones on the left are because green eyes are awesome ;)

I like green eyes myself, mainly because I own a pair. What I'd like to know is if these eyes could be seen through, as they look like large Taxidermy eyes. The "Pupil" is the base of the eye, while the transparent "Glass" is gathered around it. (Oh the fun things one can learn in lampworking class.) Great work, and I'm curious about your craft.

No they can't be seen through. Taxidermy eyes can't be seen through either. The transparency is not the issue - the light warping through curved glass is.

Ah, the pupils looked like cloth to me, like it was set in the resin, could partially be the texture. X3 that and i have had about 3 hours of sleep since 7pm yesterday. (it's 11:30pm here)

It's a neat idea, but unfortunantly half spheres can't be seen through clearly anyways :(

Aww, well the paint job in this does look really well, do you paint on the details first and then a solid background or is it all striped detail? (dont have to answer if you dont want to, i just make dolls and was curious)

I paint the pupil first and let it dry then the rest of the eye all at once :)

Ooo neat. X3 well it works well. And you paint it well. Then again fursuits take a lot of painting in the form of airbrushing so I'm positive you have tons of practice.

I buy premade half spheres. Clear resin is very dangerous to work with while it cures so I banned it from my life ^^ Plus I like how clear these are and if you set them properly in the head, they do follow you.
