i have NO clue what the difference between a Sauropod and a Theropod is...
I'm choosing sauropod cuz it sounds like sauron and the eye of sauron has a big yellow dinosaur like eye.

Well, my dear Ursus arctos horribilis, a Sauropod differs from a Theropod in many ways. For instance, Sauropods cheer Sauron while Theropods cheer Theoden. But clearly, you have shown that this Stegosaurus is purple and speaks German while the Triceratops speaks American and is blue. Of course, both wear glasses which is proof that dinosaurs were indeed sentient creatures.
Oh, and after a quick trip to Wikipedia I've found out that the real difference is that Sauropods, as the name clearly indicates (if you are fluent in ancient Greek), are 'lizard-footed' or basically, the big ones with small heads, long tails and quadrupedal stance. Theropods ('beast feet'), are generally smaller, have bigger heads and are bipedal, but can't move their front limbs much at all.
I have to agree with your choice: if you're going to be bipedal but without significant front limb movement, you might as well go on all fours!

They're not, sadly. I guess FA lacks a classification for bird-hipped dinosaurs (Sauropods are the things like Brontosaurus/Apatosaurus, Therapods are things like the Tyrannosaurs).

Sauropods are long-necked usually-quadrupedal lizard-hipped dinosaurs like Apatosaurus or Diplodicus (think 'Littlefoot' from Land Before Time).
Therapods are bipedal lizard-hipped, usually carnivorous dinosaurs (a good example would be the raptors, the tyrannosaurs, etc.)
Both dinosaurs in this picture (a stegasaurid and a ceratopsid) are Ornithischiid dinosaurs ('Bird Hipped'), so technically neither Sauropod or Therapod would be correct.
Also, yay dinosaur TF!
