One of the delightful things about how our eyes perceive color: her hair is not actually purple; it's a shade of orange. It just looks purple when it's laid next to the other oranges. It's a bit of a brainhack, and I abuse it pretty regularly.
I want to do this kind of thing more often. I learned a lot, and drawing it took so long that I kind of fell into a very chill flow. Lots of fun.
