for my nine's bday <3 it was yesterday (on leap year yep!), but we weren't at home so I had to scan + upload this a day late. :c so here is saturnine w his antique bb for uhhh, derpy hooves day. don't forget to eat a muffin!
nine has been into the idea of his baphomet's design being more influenced by a manx loaghtan sheep, so I drew him here with one horn configuration they have. http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums.....fellinsnow.jpg look at these guys, absolutely gorgeous with wicked horns. saturnine will definitely be having this as one of the options for his horn set, and might play around with his character not being completely sheared all the time too. sheep stuff man.

Woah! Them sheeps do have awesome horns.
The colors you work with are so alluring. Like antique lace, or sommat! You also have a nice eye for line weight. Alsoalso to my untrained eye those moth wings almost look like a technical drawing! O.O [I mean that in a complimentary way of course!]

Your detailed work is exquisite. I wish I could eat it, omg.
Or maybe that's just because I haven't had breakfast yet!
I love these horns. Those sheep are beautiful! Very striking, works well for a baphomet too with the horns going straight up...but having two sets is really cool. Your shading on them is divine.

we definitely want any and all saturnine + antique things >3 I'm actually doing my aya in real media too (in the same sort of style as the two pictures of these guys I've uploaded, except on brown paper and with more color, I think) so I could mail it to you too if you'd like!

hmm, let's see~
I pretty much "ink" my art with a 0.3 mechanical pencil instead of ever using pens, so I treat it similarly to the way most artists would probably treat their inking stage. I start by blocking in basic poses and the rough shape of character-specific details and clothing fairly lightly. then I immediately start darkening and detailing my lines (sometimes before I've even sketched out the whole image) and adding in things like accessories, often times without any underlying sketch to go off of (in this picture for example, I straight up drew the final version of saturnine's cuff, snake armband, and wings without any sketch underneath). as I'm working through a picture doing my final lines I will lightly erase any messiness from the sketch that's still present with an eraser that has a narrow + firm edge. eraser shields like this are a great tool, too. http://www.popular.com.sg/images/pr.....nery/17793.jpg any further messiness can be easily tidied up with a white gel pen, mostly for very tiny stuff like antique's bows and their feathers and rosary beads. I also always have a scrap piece of paper that I rest my hand on and constantly move around as I draw so I don't smear anything I'm already happy with.
