Meet Jean. In his childhood Jean was inspired by the Japanese painting style, yamato-e. After graduating one of the schools in Paris, he moved to Japan where he tried many other styles, improvising and trying to create something new... of his very own.
P.S. This is for FurBuy contest.

This is a perfect symbolic statement. I take martial arts and see the beauty of this character using his whole body as to be become one with his brush while the artist within him guides his creative endevours to finalize his expression on his canvas.great job! keep it coming!
And I think I've done enough damage to the Russian language for today.... ;)

I'll help you a bit :)
* приятен глазу (dative case doesn't require a preposition unless you describe some kind of a movement)
* composition in art is just that - "композиция"; "круглый" is "perfectly round"; you probably meant "округлый" ("circular-ish", "rounded")
* when transcribing names, especially on the internet, they're rarely going sound-for-sound; much more often, letter for letter, so that'd be "Милани Ди Фоксио".
* "показывают" is plural of a present tense. You probably meant "покажите" ("show") или "показывайте" ("keep showing")
* "дополнительный" is "additional", "accessory". You should've used "больше" ("greater quantity") or "ещё" ("more")
That's your daily Russian lesson right there =^.^=

Thanks! The last time I actually *spoke* Russian was back in 1989, when I took an introductory course in university. Since then, I have forgotten sooooo muuuuuuch, to the point where all I can say with confidence is, "Я не знаю, я не понимаю. " ;)
It also seems painfully clear to me that language translation software has a long way to go before it can handle Russian idiomatically and with ease. I've been trying to follow some of the discussions on Furnation.Ru, but my brain begins to shut down after just a few minutes....

some serious ownage :D I don't think he'll have too much of a hard time coming up with a unique style. That neon splash technique is pretty original to me xD
Some advice I'd give this guy in RL would be to get to a psychotherapist sometime soon about those painting habits xD

That said, however, I have to mention that I wholeheartedly appreciate your desire to pass this chance to display the said trademark to 500+ art show visitors for free. I want once again to reassure you that the aforementioned trademark will NOT be included in the version of the picture displayed/sold at MFF2007 (or any other) art show without the trademark rightholder's explicit written permission, notarized and accompanied by the trademark registration certificate.
LOL, now, now, you two, to your respective corners...
Actually Jurann haunts the internet for me and points out things I would have otherwise missed (like this). I agree with him about not wanting the trademark to be sold, even though it does offer free advertisement. I personally don't have anything against the artwork itself being sold IF the art does not win the contest, since we specified that only "The winning artwork and mascot will become the property of FurBuy".
*thinks for a bit* I can accept the piece being sold at an art show before the contest ends, sans logo. However, if the piece wins the contest, per the terms of the contest, the art then belongs to the site and, logo or not, cannot be sold afterwards except by FurBuy. If this is not acceptable, then we can remove the piece from the contest.

Hmmm... the previous post was a reply to Jurann's entry... somehow ending up under yours? Weird. Anyways...
1) I was talking about MFF art show, not MFM we're all going to -- that'd be November, so by then all of us will be well aware of the voting results, and thus not need to make all the "if" guesses =^.^=
2) When/if it comes to transferring rights, I will certainly take it seriously, and on Miles' behalf would require the respective legal paperwork -- mostly to shield us from drama that always surrounds those issues in the local furry fandom, so it seems (thanks god , I've NEVER seen that kind of drama in Russian fandom, where people are actually HAPPY if you draw their character, not run around screaming that somebody "stole" it. Such a weird nation, huh? :)
3) NFS is not a problem -- we WILL have a few NFS pieces there already; out first and foremost goal is to raise awareness about Miles' talent.

paypal wont let furbids users, use it to register accounts /pay fees etc as it doesnt condone adult art.
yet... it will let users pay for stuff like artwork 0_o doesnt make sense to me, thats why i cant sell stuff on furbid as i can only use paypal, and paypal wont let furbid use it.

Actually, no, that's wrong. Furbid and pretty much all auction houses lets users use whatever they like (and in the auction form, Furbid actually has a checkbox to indicate that you accept Paypal).
Paypal *itself* doesn't allow the sales of adult material. In Paypal's rules, it states they can charge you something like a $2500 fee if they find you using it for the sale of adult material. Any time you use Paypal for adult material *anywhere*, it's at your own risk. But Furbid has never prevented anyone from using Paypal, as far as I know.

Why can I not use PayPal?
Paypal has very specific rules regarding not only Adult Oriented products, but also services connected to Adult Related product sales. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however if you wish this policy to change you need to speak with PayPal directly.
its not furbid preventing people using paypal, tis paypal, as i was trying to explain, there used to be a case where if you promised you would never upload adult art, you could have permission by paypal to use them, but this is no longer the case:/
