ACTUALLY fun fact- it's fairly difficult to see stars when you're in orbit, especially if you're on the day-side of the planet. The sun's glow reflects off the planet's atmosphere and tends to blot out all but the brightest stars. They show up much better on photo and film, because those are more sensitive to light, but still. The more you know~
