So, after having studied the Devipie living with her at the Wayward Inn, Clover, Tailswisher decided to try hir paw at creating one. Shi decided that a plushie wouldn't have the power required to handle the Devipie's soulgem; the little gem normally in their bellybuttons. Tailswisher had managed to come across one at a flea market offworld from a trader who mistakenly thought it was a gem. He had apparently found it on the dead body of a Devipie slave.

Tailswisher brought the gem back to the Inn and studied it to make sure it was the real deal, which it was! Shi had no idea what would happen with a soulgem when the creature was dead, but she decided to build a golem from a magically created shell of a body and some mechanical parts. Instead of putting the soulgem in the body's belly, shi instead installed it in a special heart compartment that would power the creature. Shi also gave it some defensive mechanisms; the ability to use the long chain coiled within her body to create barriers or even to be used to repel people.

Shi installed the Devipie soulgem in the body and with a little bit of electricity the body was ready. Tailswisher released the magical inhibitors shi had cast in case something went wrong and waited for a reaction. The body was still for a moment and then the soulgem began to glow a bright green. The symbols on the body slowly lit up as well and lastly the little wings were emitting the green glow. The golem slowly opened her eyes, glancing slowly around the room before settling on Tailswisher. She slowly sat up as if the mind and body were still getting used to each other.

The golem opened her mouth as if to speak, but nothing came out. Tailswisher raised a paw to show shi meant no harm and gently twisted one of the bolts around her neck as an audible click was heard and the golem tried again to speak and her voice sounded timid for a moment, no sure of how it would sound, but then gained in confidence as she asked who I was and where she was.

Tailswisher told her that she had been killed on another planet and that her soulgem had been placed inside a new body. The golem seemed to understand as her own memories were coming back. She said that her name was Zeela. Tailswisher offered her this place of sanctuary to get used to her new body and the promise that no one would again treat her in such a way. She agreed and has since become close friends with Clover. Clover helps Zeela get used to her new surroundings and friends as well as with the gaps in her memory that still await that little cue to come back.
