Actually my instructions when making the costume were, 'i want you to use this guys art as a reference MAKE A FOO DOG', I was like 'who is this guy? oh his art is really cool. Oh yay, a comic to read! Oh man this goes on forever! Wow I really like his art sty- FUCK WHY DID IT STOP'. The green fur is just because it was the only thing laying around that wasn't getting used for something else.

Jake is beautiful because he's an honest asshole. What you see is what you get. That's something to be admired. Too many of us have too many faces we wear...he'd just got one, so far we've seen.

An art teacher once told me that ‘the two tools to be used in conveying emotion in a picture are the face AND the hands‘. What a delight to see how flawlessly you render them both in your work, Airu. That and the fantastic way you handle your backgrounds, especially how you used the BG in the bottom frame behind the preceding two frames. That is just creatively awesome!

I have always loved drawing hands in different positions, and expressions are just like special treats I get to draw when I am making panels X3
