My personal suit made of my fursona.
This suit is by far the most complex thing I have made. Her patterns are 90% hand sewn as is most of the bodysuit. She has 8 different types of fur on her. Her stripes are airbrushed on. She also features a new kind of digitigrade leg that required a lot of design, they are so sexy I love them! The suit a 3 piece, the head, body with attached paws and a tail. Her head was hard, I think it is my best short muzzled head yet and a fantastic example of my style, I'm so proud of how far my style has come. her zipper is actually along a seam instead of down the front or back.
This suit has been a year long project, saving up and waiting for the right furs, sewing when I know exactly what I want, designing and planing. Coming up with new ways to mark and make patterns (new to me at least) started late 2010 and finished just in time for FC 2012
her back patterns are supposed to be a butterfly of sorts. She has no defined species but is indeed a feline of some sorts.
Paw pads from
flurrycat Though the ones on the feet are sadly a different shade than the ones on her hands.

yeh i understand that it would cost 2k+ cause your fursuits are amazing (if only i still had my job).
Myself and my fiancee are about 90% done on our MLP fursits (Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash) and they are our first ones. We have been making them and on and off over the last two months but i'd say we have spent around 60 hours on them and were going all out now to finish them for my birthday party next saturday at Manchester mini furmeet. No sooner will we finish them then we will be making our Fursona fursuits Sylphie and Rikku. Can't waitXD

The pattern wokr is gorgeous, even the little airbrushing accents look amazingly seamless and you can really only tell there's a transition because of how thin the stripes get at their ends and nobody would sew that X.X I really really really love how this pattern looks, holy crap. Also the heels(not digitigrade so i dont know what else to call em) with the fluffy accents are remarkably good looking.
You've really outdone yourself this time. :X

A wonderful design that was exquisitely engeneered and produced with precise and skillful acumen. Your new suit is very befitting, especially the butterfly motif on the back markings- showing the metamorphosis and growth from your old style and fursona unto your new fursona and style/ skill level. I truly tip my armet to you for the great leaps and bounds you have made in your trade.
You're -extremely- welcome! I have a few months to wait still until my pell grant comes in, but when I finally reach the point when I'm ready to purchase my fursuit, I DEFINITELY want your work, for the body of my halfsuit (arms, hands, legs, feet, and tail), because this style of digigrade legs is PERFECT for my character's design. Not to mention the way you do hands and feet. SO perfect. ^.^
I'm LITERALLY chomping at the bit for when those funds finally come in, but obtaining a masterpiece from you will be WELL worth the wait.

You have most certainly outdone yourself with this creation, Mushi. It's incredible how much detail went into its creation, especially the coloration pattern. Hand-sewing it must have been truly been an intense, yet intimate experience. I can see that you must have been spending lots of time doing this. You should definitely be proud of the endeavors you've gone through to have made such a magnificent piece.
I do ponder, how was it when you first slipped into the completed creation?

I'm not into fursuiting, but I just LOVE to see the effort, commitment and love an artist like you puts into a piece like this.
I mean, I would LOVE to have the skills to make something even remotely similar to this. I'd make so many plushies ;w; <3
I am in love with those crazy spots on her back, it must have taken you AGES to sew, omg, but they're just beautiful.
And those digitigrade feet........ PURE LOVE.
Amazing, stunning, beautiful work!!!

This is just so talented! But I had a question: What was it that you used to paint on the stripes? It looks like airbrush but what sort of dye would be appropriate for that sort of thing? Is it full synthetic fur? I'm just curious because there were a few things I was thinking about making but I have no idea where to start with some of these things.
Awe, you make me blush. The new version will have some specialty 4 ways stretch furs that will allow for a skin tight fit that has mobility, a new made for her back that has 8" fur, all new hands and feet with extra long fur on her ankles, as well as a few new touches to really make her "pop"
