I totally stayed up all night finishing this one cause my CD cover designs were due today. Was it worth it?
During the process of drawing this, I discovered the paintbrush tool in Illustrator, which is probably the closest thing yet I've discovered to my ideal inking tool. All the shading was done subsequently with simple gradients (no meshes this time).

jig for helping me draw the legs and tail to this piece. His version is a little more explicit, so I'll throw it in the scraps section.
The image was topped off with a slight bloom effect in Photoshop.
