Well I can. Decided to update Loaf's appearance. Originally, I was just going to simplify her markings. They were a little... random and disjointed on her old design, but the colors were alright and the basic concept was fine. But as I worked on this doodle, and talked to my boobins, I found that doing anything beyond this stage of color only took away from the design.

So congrats Loaf, you are now a black and tan coonhound instead of a bluetick.
I simply love simple characters. The fewer markings I have to memorize, the better. Which is probably why I like this direction better than her old one. Her old design had like... 6 or 7 colors. This one? 4, if you include her pawpads.

Still trying to figure out what to do with her neck accessory, but I like this studded collar idea so far so I'll probably go with that.

We'll see.

Just throwing this up to make sure the web doesn't turn her too blue. She's supposed to be black... probably is a little too blue though. Will have to desaturate that.
