Just spent the better part of last night, and early this morning with my EMS unit from Bath Co, helping the people of Morgan and Menifee Counties, after a large tornado carved a large path of destruction through the area. I have a few more pictures I was able to take, and a couple of which I uploaded to several local news, including letting a news truck borrow the SD card so they could upload and use it for themselves.
This is a picture of West Liberty, KY, This was around 7am. A tornado ripped through most of the city around 6pm last night, causing three deaths, and hundreds wounded.
Going to Menifee Co in a bit to check on my family there, and snap pix, see if I can offer any assistance to the clean up.
Bear in mind, this is a city that is up in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. Our weather people often say that tornadoes don't like hills, the chances of a tornado striking is low... Well... this is the second time this week that a tornado hit West Liberty.
This picture shows the part of the town that was spared in some form.

Thank you; Though my town escaped with only minor wind damage, the city shown is a neighboring county seat where I did my banking and other business at; if I can find a picture of whats left of my bank, I'll post it.
I'm debating on wether to show some of the more destructive pictures, or not, I doubt FA or the browsers want to see what a EF3 tornado can do to a residential area in a small rural town. Doesn't look like a nuke at all, More like someone reached down, scooped up an entire sub-division, and carried it away, leaving only foundations and tree's scattered about.
