These leaves are a new style for me, as is the patina (oxidation/colour). The leaves were intended for a bracelet, but the original design has proven a bit problematic. In any case, the techniques are sound. The patina was done by burying the leaves in shredded newspaper soaked in a mixture of salt and ammonia for half a day, gently brushing the loose flakes off, then repeating. It was then fixed with hot beeswax.
