So, I've been doodling this for a while. I see that SO much of it is wrong, but I found out I can use it in my A-level project this term, so I finished it anyways.
I hope you like it I guess.

This is great. I love how you've rendered the hair. But I definitely see a lack of depth here, maybe if you had more contrasting shadows with the background on the subjects, they'd look less flat. Right now, it looks as if the elf girl's head is on backwards. But overall a very beautiful painting c:
Yeah, I know it looks like the girl's head is wrong - that's the main thing I hate about this. I also hate the background haha - it's too flat, the clouds look NOTHING like clouds, and things like that. I aimed for the whole thing to be very pale, pastel colors, but it didn't work out.
Thanks muchly though, especially for the coonstructive critique.

Hmm I've never tried that - thanks!
I wish I spent more time on it tbh because I like how the dragon's face came out :V ... I just wanted to finish it quickly for school xD ... My sketches are always so rough that when I do the line, it never looks right. And often I CBA to fix it so I carry on. It's something I REALLY need to stop doing >.<

This is a really lovely picture, im especially drawn towards the dragons eye, and the space between the girl and the dragon. Thats a really challenging composition you created, but you acheived the mood very well, almost reminds me of a watercolour piece.
Have you ever tried working over a digital piece with a different medium? Its a really interesting method to experiment with all sorts of elements, like light and colour. Despite that, it doesnt change my opinion on this great piece :3
