A young, 9-year-old bunny named Sesame Bun stared in wonder at the underwater world below him as he snorkeled further and further from shore. His parents abhorred it, but the deep water was his location of choice. He had been snorkeling since he could walk, and despite his parents' protests, he claimed he knew what he was doing. Besides, he wanted to get as far as he could from the dance party at the resort next door. It was driving him crazy!
Before his thoughts could return to the present, a wave caught Sesame and carried him out to sea. He swam for his life back to shore, but the current was stronger. The last thing he saw before passing out was a lean, well-toned feminine figure swimming toward him.
When he regained consciousness, he found himself back on the beach, with the same female standing over him, a beautiful draft mare with a massive bust, big round hips and thighs, a flowing black mane and tail, and a dazzling smile, all clad in a flattering navy blue lifeguard swimsuit.
Sesame snapped out of it as soon as he realized he was staring, and ensnared the horse's waist in a tight hug signifying every ounce of his gratitude, invoking a surprised whinny from the equine lifeguard. “Thank you for the save,” Sesame said as he pulled out of the embrace. “What's your name?”
“Sheila,” she replied. “What's yours?”
“Sesame.” He blushed. He had a feeling he was going to regret the next thing he was about to say to her, but he went for it anyway. He took a deep breath. “You know, you're very pretty. Will you go out with me?”
Sheila stifled a giggle with her hand. “Perhaps when you're older. Besides, I have to get back to work. Now, you stay out of trouble, you hear?” She patted Sesame on the head between his long ears as she pranced back to her lookout. It was so hard to say no to such an adorable face, but she saw no good coming out of a relationship with someone so young. Perhaps she would look him up once he turned eighteen...
Later that afternoon, Sheila trotted across the lagoon with a yellow caution tape in one hand and a handfull of wooden stakes in the other. A pool of quicksand had been discovered near the resort, and she was headed there to stake it off. It was well off the property and out of the way, but being a lifeguard she couldn't risk any patrons venturing this far off and getting stuck in it.
As she reached the location of the quicksand, she looked down at it. It looked nice and dry, but it bubbled a little in the center.. Sheila shivered. That stuff looked bottomless. She had just pushed the first stake into the ground and was about to unravel the yellow tape when she slipped and fell on her hands and knees. And when she got up, she noticed her hooves slowly sinking into the beach.
“I'm sinking!” she gasped, throwing the tape and remaining stakes into the bushes and cursing her own stupidity, by the time she was done with which she had been sucked in up to her knees. She could not reach the edge of the pit, but she did carry a whistle around her neck, which she could use to call for help. She doubted it would do any good The music from the dance party going on next door would most surely drown it out. She tried anyway, blowing the whistle multiple times as hard as she could, sinking a little deeper every time she exhaled.
Okay, don't panic, she thought, the thick, heavily packed sand now sucking at her massive horse thighs. Lifeguard training had prepared her for such a situation. The most important thing, she remembered, was not to struggle against the quicksand and just remain calm. Many victims of quicksand were victims due to their own panic. The best way out was to look for a solid handhold that she could use to hoist herself up out of the pit. The only thing that was even remotely within reach was an overhanging tree branch, which, to Sheila's horror, fell just inches from her hand when she tried to reach for it.
Sheila looked down just in time to watch her tial and equine rump disappear into the quicksand. Now in up to her waist, she could feel the sand sucking hungrily at her spandex lifeguard swimsuit. “Help!” she called out. “Somebody, help me!” She soon gave up on that approach. If no one could even hear her whistle, surely calling for help would be out of the question as well.
She lifted her arms up in the air as the quicksand came up to her breasts, at which point she seemed to float in the stuff. That was the second part of quicksand survival training: never let your arms go under. She heard rustling in the bushes off to the side, that seemed to grow louder and louder. When the entity neared the pit, she saw a pair of big bunny ears sticking out of the shrubbery. “Sesame!” she gasped, whinnying joyfully as her melons disappeared into the ground. “How did you find me?”
Sesame smiled. “You'd be surprised how far away these ears can hear. And when I heard you call for help, I saw this as a chance for me to return a favor. Now, about getting you out of there...” He climbed the trunk of a tree with the overhanging branch, and then started hanging from the limb, so that it descended just enough for Sheila to grab it. He then swung back onto the beach, reaching the hard ground at about the same time that Sheila did.
“You saved me!” Sheila panted as she fell to her knees and hugged Sesame around the shoulders, pressing him tight against her swimsuit. Sesame was practically a lifeguard in his own right. “Oh, how can I ever repay you?!”
“Heh. Will you go out with me now?”
Sheila laughed out loud and cuddled him closer. “I still think you're a little young, but I would like to be your friend. Say, my shift is just about over. What would you like to do together?”
Sesame giggled. “How about we bury you in the sand?”
