i did this back when i was in high school. my art teacher said that i had no fucking talent what so ever and walked off. i remember that because it effected how i draw today. i look at things a different way now too.

If it was for some kind of complex project, that almost justifies that kind of response (keyword being almost). But I'm guessing your teacher just happened upon you making a little drawing for yourself? I've had a junior high teacher way back when who told me I was a huge disappointment because I didn't enjoy doing everything exactly how she wanted.
