wow this is lovely <3 a bit big for FA though, even on my 1900 px monitor this is enormous

And its even bigger than that I decided to upload the 150 dpi version because so much was lost at 72dpi I am usually generous at the resolution I post on FA. :) And as long as people behave it will stay that way.

I tend to keep things within 1200x wide for FA, you have to consider people dont have massive monitors and huge files take forever to load.

:B take it from a painter myself. is best to upload the smaller ones

Amazing piece. Love the colors and the lighting.

I can't critique your actual painting but the anatomy appears off in some places.

Top orca: The melon appears to curve rather sharply towards the rostrum. The jaw line is riding too low on the head, I would have placed the corner of the mouth at approximately the location of the eye.

General: Probably more of a matter of character design than an actual error but I noticed in the orca painting you did yesterday you placed the eye forward/above of the corner of the mouth, rather than slightly behind or -directly- above the corner as is actually the case in reality. You've done the same here.

The bottom orca is great though.

the colors and artistry are brilliant in this one, one of the reasons I so love your art:) The aurora is gorgeous, and the orca on the bottom is beautiful. my only critique is that the orca on top, at the angle you have him/her spyhopping, shouldn't have such a visible eye. the eye is correctly placed, but making it so big and vibrant almost makes it seem to bug out compared to the lines on the body, while the orca below the eyes looks better because it fits how the body is defined:)
