Thank you SO much Khalid, your praise means a lot to me! :D
Actually the process is rather easy: First I colourized the outlines flat like in cartoons, then for each area I picked a slightly darker colour and painted softly at those edges that are away from the light source (I assumed that the light comes from the ceiling, though that is rather a simplification in this case ^^). Then I did the same for the brighter colours. The shine of the glow sticks was added last. Note that I worked with multiple layers for background, colours and outlines. At last I adapted saturation and brightness for the colour layer. To make the colour areas look more vivid, one can also draw dithered/distortion/don't know how to describe that :).

Thanks for fav & praise, Tyrone!
Glyko and Teg depict my inner aspirations:
I often cannot show my feelings due to my AS and because I'm frightened and shy. I admire the peaceful, open-minded spirit of hippies, sometimes I just want to let go my fears and be accepted as who I am. I want to reveal my inner thoughts and mood like Teg does by dancing, and I long for the ease, airiness and grace he is demonstrating here.
