Loki.
That was quite a name to live up to but the Horse had managed to back it up almost directly from birth.
The Equine was given anything and everything he could have ever wanted growing up. Nothing was out of his reach.
Loki lived with his Father, Sherridan. His Mother had died during birth, leaving Sherridan to raise Loki by himself. But the older Horse had not the time or inclination to spend much time with Loki. He frequently left the boy in the care of the various servants of the household.
It was therefore not surprising that Loki became quickly self-reliant upon himself and disillusioned with his Father.
Sherridan was incredibly business focussed. His empire of "entertainment" districts came first, his Son, second. It was not as if he never provided for the boy, Loki never went without, he had the finest living arrangements that money could buy.
Loki never wanted any of it however, he had once valued a relationship with his Father, yet now he saw the old Horse for what he was. A fat, greedy, vindictive business driven former Stallion that was trying desperately to maintain power.
Loki ran away at 16, deciding to carve out his own future. He didn't need his overbearing Father in his life that was for sure. The Equine had big plans for himself. It took several years of hard work but Loki eventually realised those plans.
He relocated once again to a site in the country-side. The building of his new home was coming along nicely. As building continued all around him, Loki took a walk, finding an orchard, the Horse picked one of the apples from a tree. He had taken his own destiny in his hands without the aid of his Father. Loki had decided to build a manor home for himself within the grounds of an old castle. It was incredibly outlandish, almost vulgar but it was a statement of intent, a declaration of all of his hard work up to this point.
Mostly it was a big middle finger to Sherridan.
It's time.
It's time!
IT'S NEW CHARACTER TIME.
Yes, Loki, a Horse character of mine finally gets some time to shine. I had a little bit of trouble trying to get an image of him. Names will not be named but it did prove to be a bit of a challenge to get an artist willing to put the effort into the whole thing.
Enter Jailbird. This picture was actually streamed for me with the intent of ensuring that the character design was on track. Needless to say, it was. Watching it come together was an absolute pleasure and I can't heap enough praise onto Jailbird for deciding to do this for me.
Enjoy!

Loki has been waiting a long time for his introduction, and you've definitely done him justice! I always love the way you put your back stories together. They always add so much to the wonderful pictures you have done! Another great job, bro! I'm glad Jailbird stepped up to the challenge!
