I remember doing the exact same thing on my dad's lap with Commander Keen, and even DOOM...now that I think about it, I was kinda surprised he thought I was old enough for DOOM at 4 years old.

I don't really remember if I had restriction as a kid when it came to gaming, but I never really played hardcore stuff either. My parents were a little more relax then most though.

I've never actually played a scary game, even though I want to, I just know I can't handle it haha. So I'll get to watch someone else play on saturday!

Oh gosh, I can't play scary games either. I get creeped out by things that I know shouldn't be that scary.

The only thing I've tried was Grudge on wii, which really isn't as scary as other games and I still couldn't do it. Was fun to watch my friend do it though, while I huddled on the couch with a blanket lol

Haha I don't watch them on mute, but I prefer watching them early. If I don't, must watch happy cartoons for a few hours before bed.

Oh god this is so cute! :D gotta love watching other people play scary games lol. (I used to do it all the time, though see if I tried to play a freaky game myself I'm sure something would pop out at some point and I'd probably scream and toss the controller in the air XD)
