A while back I Commissioned  meglyman to draw this for me with all intent to have it turned into a tattoo. I got the commission back in december, I think, and just got it done over this last weekend. I am so happy with how it turned out!

The origins behind why I now have an octopus holding a pink flamingo and charlie brown tree come from inside jokes between my parents and I. And since I love them and always wanted to have them close to my heart I got this done for them, The flamingo because I liked to tease my dad because of his distaste for yard flamingos, according to him "They belong in trailer parks in Mobile Alabama". The Charlie brown tree is for my mother who teases me because I threw a fit in high school because she got a small tree for Christmas and kept calling it a charlie brown tree. The octopus is just cause I love them and and tend love octopi, and random is kind of my thing,
