The concept for these guys is intriguing, as the whole of their race is born out of a duality. Reminds me, in ways, of the Jungian concept of the Anima. However, in practice, their design is a bit.... Mary Sue.
Don't get me wrong, It's not the whole Angel thing, or even that they themselves are Sueish, but a lot of the design aspects you made for them correlate and coincide with Sueish tendancies. Light and Dark wings? none of them have grey wings? two tone hair? mis matched eyes, horns? Yeah, duality is fine and all, and I like it as a character concept, or even as a racial concept, but there's no need to wear it on one's sleeve, especially in so damn many ways. Really, in terms of physical appearance, all I think of are these guys: http://bit.ly/y4Pw04
As I said, the nature of duality in them, as a race, is intriguing. It'd be cool to portray a tendency of bi-polar disorder to them. There's depth there, but its not too apparent in this first draft.
