fffffffffff im just being hard on myself. it's just so cute and tiny like 2" irl and glitter blended and :C you know how it is, stupid scanners, i even tried taking pictures in perfect light.. and its just a doodle that took like MAYBE 20 mins >_<!!! RRRGH. (...and it was mostly to show off the pens to him so i can kick his ass into drawing more SHHHHH)
i guess since we've been doing art for ~6 years in the vein of antique's tradition (pencil or maybe ink, cream or brown paper/tones, gold, etc) im soooooo not use to retouching this kind of thing as much as i thought i was. hmm hmm i guess that just means i'll have to do more...

Also try playing with your scanner settings! That'll help things a lot, and how the program responds when you bring the image in. Some of them bleach everything because they have weeeeird settings.

Scanners ruin everyone's fun. But this is cute. I think traditional media adds a certain grit to your art that I really enjoy.

so funny i actually pulled this back out again last night 'cause it was on the same page as something else i needed, and decided to do more with it.. cut it out like a star and pasted it onto some cute re-purposed pink striped paper. im going to turn it into some tiny card-thing rainbow glitter sticker nightmare lol.
