Took longer than expected (probably in the 3-4 hour range), but I really enjoyed painting this. XD

Thank you! My lineart is just the sketch, but refined a bit more while I paint. Below is the original sketch, if that helps at all. :D

I saw the sketch for this in tumblr and I thought it would look amazing when finished. I was right. Composition is very well done, and the snow looks wonderful. The fact that you choose to work with blue hues makes the overall picture more cold, enhacing the feeling the snow gives.
Ahh, thank you! ;3;
I'm not sure if there's a legit/tried-and-true method to speedpainting, but I've found getting the composition and most of the sketch done in the first part helps a lot. Doing [what you anticipate being] the hardest part first is also pretty helpful (since from then on it's an easy bikeride downhill), although I do need to follow my own advice more often. XD

OMG this came out SO AMAZING! You did so well filling the negative space with flurries. It definitely feels like you're right there in the middle of an icey blizzard, toiling over a rocky and trecherous terrain, never knowing which step might send you tumbling down a ravine. Yashe looks so comfortable and her yakbeast goat thing looks to be a great navigator of just a terrain! Thank you so much for this. I can't tell you how happy I am with it :>
Also I want to note that the ay she is positioned on the animal makes so much sense since, from the looks of the rocky terrain, there would be a lot of jumping. She could easily brace her claves against the panniers/saddle bags and lift up from the back of the animal to prevent painful impacts xD Though he looks fluffy enough that might not be a concern x3
Could I post this in my gallery with, ofc, credits to you? ;D

Soooo so glad you like it bb! For awhile I was like HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WORK FABULOUSLY but I'm glad you mentioned having a pack animal with her — after looking up mountain goats and other furry bovines I was super-inspired. :B
Haha, it does seem more comfortable! I figure if she has long legs (which she does) it'd prevent any dragging/injuries without needing to put on stirrups. And would definitely would help with impacts, like you said~
Of course! You're more than welcome to post it to your gallery. C:

How the **** do you do that in 3-4 hours??? Guuuh
Just stunning. As others have said, the composition works wonderfully, and I love the snow effects. The detail you put into the figures blows my mind, and that's before I take into consideration how long it took you XD You have the most incredible skills.
