Wow it's been forever since I've submitted anything on here <.<.....
I've had her design stuck up in my head for a while now, but I haven't gotten around to drawing her until now. Her name is Alida, meaning little winged one, and she is based upon a Ornate Hawk-Eagle, (which is probably my favorite bird). I love mythological creatures, harpies are just so interesting looking ^^;
I probably won't end up keeping that outfit with her character...not sure yet...XD It's the only outfit I could get looking alright on her last night. I don't usually end up drawing backgrounds (only because I hate how they always turn out), but I didn't like her on just a flat or textured color, and I didn't want to just put her in a stock image. So I speed painted this XD and I don't think it turned out all that bad. <.< I want to make a costume out of her......
