I started this the other day and finished work a bit early today, so I was able to wrap it up.

It might go over easier if she had a canonical last name. ^^
(knew you of all people would get the reference, man. XD It was either this, or the student's existential conundrum at the opening of Part Four. "I did not like to give myself up for others in college. Let me see something that is fucking awesome for it's own sake of the designer." And all that shit.)

2 things...one is the episode where she bites her leg, since she is all white it looked like she was biting a marshmallow instead of her hoof area and then there is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Oay9oY2b6E
This is very cool, and incredibly apt for the character.
Based on Faust's comment about 'different ways girls can be girls', I've noticed how each of the mains tend to stand for a broader interest type, as well as personality type. Fluttershy is into Nature and Music, Applejack is into Physical, get your hands dirty type work (I'd include machines/engines, and woodworking in this purview), and Rarity is the Artisan, the Crafter, and the Designer. I also consider her the closest to covering Performance, as her melodramatic pity parties are very Theatrical ^_^
