No, the writing is on the third panel, not the second. :(
The writing is a little sloppy, but you should be able to see the ears on the second panel if you tilt your screen slightly and the third panel shows a walking bunny with a cane if you turn the screen 90° counter clockwise.

this reminds me of whenever i use my kanji decrypter on my phone and it never gets it, but then my boyfriend tries with the worst kanji ever and it instantly recognizes it...

i just started studying a few weeks ago. i'm only learning to read and write so lots of kanji study. i love it, it's easier for me to remember kanji than regular kana???

thats cool, we were taught mostly speaking and grammar and such, i only know about 20-30 kanji sadly, thats not even enough for a newspaper. do you have a certain way to remember them?

hmm i just write them a lot. i'll load an image into manga studio of a kitchen and then just write what everything is right on top. i'll do that like three or four times and then once a day over the next few days. eventually i can do them fast and i don't need to practice them as much. now i have all these files of just pics that i write all over. i still haven't done much grammar, and vocab has been mostly nouns and simple verbs, the main particles, but no prepositions or ending affixes yet, so i'm still at beginner level!

oh i like that idea, i was using postits around the house and i wouldnt fill them in until i remembered, but im way out of practice... good luck learning all 1945 government recommended kanji lol

Don't feel too bad about it. It takes at least 1500 kanji to read a newspaper and Japanese children aren't expected to know that many even until close to the end of high school.

I myself want to pick up Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji in a form of meditation to interpret and practice line recognition, rhythm, and efficiency. It'll translate in my art with confident strokes if all goes well, since there's so many principles about form with writing.

But, hey, at least typing is replacing writing Kanji, even in Japan. A lot of younger people don't know how to write Kanji correctly in Japan, I guess.

i actually looove learning and writing kanji, and my handwriting is decent, i just thought this would be funny :)

Yeah, I personally think that most kanjis can be made in few strokes, by people who skillfully apply the good pressure on the pen, at the right time, naturally.

Several lil strokes might be done with only one stroke with variation in pressure.

Ugh when I was taking japanese class in school we barely had time to learn symbols because the japanese department head is SUCH a stickler for penmanship. I guess we all leaned super fine writing skills.

i posted this on pixiv but with '完全' instead of 'nailed it'
maybe it made more sense in japanese because they seemed to get it pretty well
and i also wrote out myself, 完全 so it was obvious my handwriting was at least decent and that this was a joke

actually though, most people have been very helpful, kamui and bellua and some others
they are both translators so their advice has been better than even native speakers
but man, some of the advice i get is pretty great in its wrongness

also unrelated, what's with pixiv, people don't really comment on pics, instead they send private messages?? it's really kind but wow, hard to keep up, i feel obligated to reply to every single one!

Getting the stroke order right is more important than making it look pretty.

Also かな characters became second nature to me when I started using flashcard type programs to grind up my 漢字 skill, since all the readings are in ひらがな and カタカナ.

And then I try to figure out which reading to use when I see 抱く and my mind is full of fuck.

word yeah my actual handwriting (this was just a joke) seems to be legible to japanese folk, i actually got compliments on it?? prob just being polite tho hahah. though really i am writing kanji to help memorize them better. flash cards do not work for me at all! i wish they did. but repetitious writing works very well for me.
