I documented this as taking 10 hours to complete. I had changed bits of the lineart, and had a blast on the image in general. I really liked KZ's style around this time :3

Ah, apologies on my info about the outfit.
But still, it is a pretty darn good one. If only they'd used one like it in the games (ah well, we can always say this was a pre-Assault look, given there was about a year between Adventures and Assault).
The pose is a little more peaceful than the other pic but nevertheless, great details.

Command put them in an awkward game design position for sure. LOL They didn't get a single part of Krystal's fur markings right in that Kursed image, but it was amusing to see her with longer hair and in something more revealing since Assault put her in the most poorly designed furry outfit ever. :P
Skin-tight with thick material, heavy metal bands loosely attached to the tail that magically stay on, completely removing her ability to show her defining markings and/or tribal heritage, taking away her staff completely as though the other game never happened. :/
Hm, that reminds me.
Am I the only one who shifts between positively loathing the character and all who appreciate her, then shifting back towards liking her, then giving in completely to her physical attractiveness and finally getting oneself together and back to stage 1?
I guess I am, but the basic premise hopefully is not unique to me.

Eh, kinda. Phases; we all have them. Though I've had a really long 'ehhhhhh' phase lately. My fave pieces are still the really early Blue Deer comic sequence. And I'd go and try to appreciate fanart of her but between that awful 3D model with huge breasts, and all the 'stick-my-character-in-with-her' porn, that's nearly impossible to revive. I used to be the number one obsessed fan, but I at least respected her as a character. Then the Starfox series died. (Essentially) *shrugs* Just never liked the direction they took her character. So much potential, all wasted. They'd have to do a Call of Duty style game imo.
