Well, story is that Pip (The collie on the right.) and Riley (The grey fox) were lovers and were -very- interested in spending the rest of their lives together. At the same time, they were both Mercenary tank commanders. Riley was the commander of a big German built medium tank and Pip the commander of a 38 NA light scout tank. Well, in a battle both their tanks were knocked out. So they and their crews bailed. They took shelter in a bunker and Riley set up with his BREN gun and began putting suppressive fire. However, against tanks he couldn't do much.
The tank noticed the fire, turned and began advancing on them. So he told Pip to run, she refused and tried to run for him (And this point was him yelling stay back, and ordering a Gypsy Vanner from an artillery piece to pick her up and get her out of there.). He then provided cover fire for their escape with his Bren gun so his love could get to safety. The Last anyone ever saw of him was his machine gun finally being silenced as the massive tank rolled -through- the bunker he was occupying. After the battle, they searched the bunker and could find no remains however. So he's still listed as MIA to this day. Pip holds out hope, and has not fallen in love with another despite her rather sexualized appearance.
It's a story of war tearing loved ones apart, true love and the hope that binds someone to those lost.
