Perhaps the secret for that style is the proper shading and more importantly the elimination of the lineart. More and more I´m learning stuff like that in the subject of human´s body

How loong did it took you to draw the fur btw??

Well, the fur texture is not that complicated, it´s pure strokes with big sized brush with some multiply option, depending how you make the strokes it´ll took you no more than 10 minutes, the fur on the edge of the body is another story
