I decided to try coming up with a name for him this time around. =P "Marro" seems to fit him. Do you think it was a good idea to name him or was he better nameless?
So here is the Redwall weasel sketch I did a few days ago all colored up! I still don't have Photoshop, so I did this entirely in OpenCanvas 1.1. =) Hopefully I'll have Photoshop again within a couple of months.
He originally started off cel-shaded, but eventually I went towards a more realistic painterly approach because I thought it fit him better. I'm quite happy with how this came out, especially since I don't have Photoshop at my disposal. It actually made me think a bit harder since I had a limited amount of layers and layer modes at my disposal to use.
So yes, hopefully I can do more of these. Enjoy! =D

you would be surprised on how much this picture means to me, when i was in 7th grade i often looked an redwall fanart via google images. and i saw this and for some reason, it inspired me to dig around more. in 8th grade, i made a diviantART account and i then used that to find redwall fanart. Now here i am and im a furry. so to make a long story short, this picture brought me to the furry fandom.
