This is a slide from a tease video made up to promote my team's intent to partake of the Michigan Wing (CAP) Model Rocketry Challenge of 2010. The prototype, built from scratch, stands next to my Folkmanis Coyote pawpet with a motor casing.
The design proved more efficient than we needed. Still moving at a high speed in a climb, and ripping it's mylar parachute at ejection. A heavier nylon 'chute and talc ballast got the egg-lifter within 9 seconds of the target time.
