azelyn and I dabbled in some pretty amazing RP back in the day with Rieru and Taira, but their story's been up in the air for a while. We got to talking and realized that we had to admit it -- our inspiration levels were way higher when we had a story to kick around. Neither of us feels we're amazing writers, but I like to think we've come up with some things that others would really get a kick out of reading. So we decided we'll try our hand at new characters, but instead of starting over completely from scratch, we're keeping it in the same universe.

So, this is my first attempt at my half of the characters. He doesn't have a name yet, and I don't know much about him. We know he's probably got some interest in demonology, is a bit of a wisecracker and may have a bit of an asshole streak, but he's definitely clever. I don't think he's the kind of guy who's so smart he could talk his way out of a deal with the devil, but definitely sly enough to worm his way out of trouble with some scary and threatening types. :D

I threw this together in twenty minutes before bed last night, and I'm not sure why he looks like a hobo who just got out of the military, but hopefully when I learn more about him I'll have a better idea of how he dresses.

Trying to drift a little from my usual uke type... gave him smaller irises, and a little "hasn't slept in a while" rim-ness under his eyes. It's actually a nice look. I like it. This guy will be a challenge, but I need that. I feel like he needs some high quality headphones as a permanent staple of his wardrobe -- but that there's probably some supernatural or conspiracy-related reason for them.

I also have NO idea for colors. Hair, skin, eyes, anything. I may just throw together some random palettes and see what sticks.

Suggestions? :D I've been calling him "Yasuo", which means "peaceful one", because irony is hip, you guys.
