This is the base art for a come-on flier for my campus' Comic Book Club. I had intended it to be a big rippling comic book hero, but, for whatever reason, it turned into a sabre-toothed cat in the process. I really liked the theme of the creation interacting with the creator, but I wondered, at what point does a drawing really become a character with a mind of its own?
