My take on Zelda--the curtain opens!
So, I had a concept for a Zelda hack some time ago, that really didn't get anywhere--I didn't have a name for it then, still don't, and I was editing objects into already existing sprites from Minish Cap.
But with this, even though it uses a graphic-style from Four Swords adventures, is completely custom--save for the shadows, and Links' hat.
Link sports comfy Brown shorts, and brown sleeves with a blue band right behind his wrist.
He wears a dark Forest green hat and tunic, with a good bit of hair hidden underneath his hat.
Zelda, a village maiden and close friend of Link, she came to his village when they both were seven, and six years later, she's treated like family.
She wears a blue gown with white trim at the bottom, with a magenta line right above that, a golden ring of fabric around her waist, pink trim around her neckline, and light blue sleeves. She's always seen with a Flower in her hair, even one underneath her fringe.
Vaati, is Links childhood rival, named after the Legendary Wind-mage because of his pale hair, and love of purple.
He's like Link's equal in Swordplay, choosing to use Dual-swords over a sword and shield, and has a crush on Zelda himself--and he acts rather jealous when Link and Zelda are enjoying each others' company.
Alreid, a Wolfos from a far-away land came to Link's hometown not too long after Zelda appeared, and gave sword-fencing lessons to earn his keep.
While several of the villagers looked down on him for being what they considered a Monster with lofty goals of seeming human, several like Link's Grandmother felt that the Wolfos heart was kind and tender, even more so when he volunteered to help take care of the orphans.
The children have thought of him as a Father-figure ever since.
So, what do you think? I personally love how Zelda turned out, she reminds me a bit of Marin for some reason--maybe the flower?

Thanks Rob, I'm glad you do--sorry I took so long to reply, I've been side-tracked with Kid Icarus:Uprising. ^ ^;
I haven't been spriting lately, but I'm gonna exercise to see if I've still got it, and try that mock-up request. I'll just put my mock-up experiment on hold for now. :3
So, how have you been? I'm kinda sick right now--again. < <; And I had to get fillings for my back teeth--I didn't brush them good enough, so they had teensy-weensy cavities.
To be honest, I really didn't feel a thing when the Dentist was drilling, save for a little bit of cold.(and the strain of bending my neck, and holding my mouth open wide. Ouch...)

Yeah, I'm much more careful now--the thought of having even one cavity was pretty, erm...what's the word? ...Well, mentally scarring to say the least. I couldn't stop thinking about it, and worrying about my teeth looking different.
Though, in the end, it's too far back to make a difference, and my teeth don't hurt.
Although, a part of my gums on the left side, right beside my tongue has been giving me a little grief--it hurts to swallow, but I think it's getting better. ^ ^;
