http://dissonance.comicgenesis.com/ Dissonance is up! Last update before my *shudder* Birthday...
I must have been drunk when I storyboarded this (which is weird because I don't drink) because when I actually went to put all the inks together I realised none of what I had drawn made any sense. I managed to cut and paste and rearrange everything as best I could but there's still a couple of details I'm not happy with. In any case, The argument continues. This exchange should only last about one more comic before we can get back to a little more Pandora interaction.
Also, two more peices of news: If you or anybody you know is going to be in the Toronto area March 16-18th, I could use a hand at Furnal Equinox on Saturday March 17th. I'll be wearing a rather bulky costume with slightly limited visibility and tactile prowess, so I could use somebody to help me around the convention center, talk to people for me, and hand out stickers. So if you know anybody interested in helping out a comic artist, please give me an email at rae.bruner[at]gmail.com
And one last thing, I've been working on and off developing a brand new idea (not related to Faulty Logic or Dissonance in the slightest.) I don't want to give anything away, but I'm preparing a primer that I will be sharing at the end of the month.

The mispronunciation is intentional. Despite what is commonly accepted in the furry community, it would be nigh impossible to make a "P" or "B" sound without lips similar to a human's. At least that's my working theory. Her inability to make certain common sounds will be discussed further as the comic goes forward.
Though I doubt my dog's lips touch when he barks, he sounds like he's going "mmmmmmbooooowwwwowohh" when he barks. It's probably more like the back of his tongue touches the roof of his mouth, or his teeth touch his lips. No idea though. I think dogs can produce the letter V though. Once in a while when he huffs, it sounds like "vvuh.. vuh". But it's probably an R. Close enough though. :D
