This is another race I was thinking of recently, called the Tan'Kan. They're going to be my sort of obligatory 'asian'-ish race, very trickster oriented with lots of illusion and shape changing magic.
They're sort of going to be a combination of Tanuki, Kitsune and possible Bake-neko.

How would they mostly interact with other races?
I could see them being either deceptive or elitist in their policies.
Family structure?
What is their society/civilization like?
Any major weaknesses? (They look like they might be less physically strong than most other races, but I'd assume that they have some kind of martial arts to make up for that, so I wondered if they might have some common flaw in their spells and illusions)
(...So, they're also influenced by Tanukis? Does that mean those baggy pants are hiding...?)

Not sure (but they're likely not the definition of physical strength. maybe a more agile and flexible sort of combat style, augmented with magic)
and yes :3c potentially. I'm still ruling out whether or not that would be considered inappropriate, even though it'd be in a completely nonsexual manner.
