Because these characters are played by their respective owners in our (rather sporadic) Call of Cthulhu d100 campaign based around Farell Investigations, which is a private investigation firm specializing in the supernatural ^^. They're probably the longest running characters in our group, which means that their personalities are pretty well-developed...and usually quite funny xP.
