For those of you who might not know, or haven't quite figured it out by now...I happen to be a MAJOR video game nerd. As a kid the "Super Nintendo" was the first console I ever personally owned, during my late teens I also owned both a "Playstation 2", and a "Gamecube". Given the pattern it should be no surprise that I would soon follow up by getting myself a "Nintendo Wii" as well, but as great as that system is, it's NOT what this image is about. Oh it's about a Nintendo system alright, but this picture is my little tribute to the newest addition to the LONG line of Nintendo handhelds...the "Nintendo 3DS"!! So why bother doing a picture of THIS, and not "Wii"? Here is why, as much as I played, and loved most, if not ALL of Nintendo's major home consoles, I have usually AVOIDED getting almost ANY of the handhelds. See when Nintendo's "Gameboy" came out I got myself SEGA's "GameGEAR", years later when the various Nintendo DS models were out, guess what I got myself instead? That's right...a PSP! However, Nintendo FINALLY managed to do something for me I honestly didn't think it could..They managed to create a handheld that I actually WANTED! I wanted a 3DS the moment I had a friend show me what the thing both looked like, and could do in person. The device is truly a technological breakthrough for handhelds, and video games in general. Plus the "Aqua Blue", and "Flame Red" versions are just GORGEOUS! Long story short I got one, and I now love it.
