I know that for many people, ME3 endings weren't the ones expected.
A lot of negative experiences seem to come only from the very last part of the story, while the whole game is really amazing. I mean, the environments, dialogs and combat systems are really interesting and you can feel the improvement since ME1.
But yes. Endings.
Before someone starts to tell it was obvious there would not be rainbows and bunnies. But I just want to say there is a middle, between rainbows and depressing endings.
When Bioware told me there would be plenty of endings, I assumed there would be one in which Shepard and the LI (at least) would eventually survive the war, and despite all the sacrifices and lost lives, you would have seen that all your efforts and choices finally paid, and the game would have ended with two main words: Hope & Relief.
Now, I'll get over these endings. Because the ME universe is too awesome for being sabotaged by the depressing mood. I don't know if they'll ever be fixed, but my Shepard's survival isn't worth it if she can't end up with her love, and I like thinking Garrus would feel the same. This opinion is entirely up to me of course.

I was bummed by the ending options as well, not so much how they are just bad *still didn't help with lack of closure*... but the fact that bioware seemed to just forget about the love we have for our Shepard's and their crew, let alone their love interest. It seemed they were just trying to finish the game and be done with it.
As for this art piece, it is really well done. The emotion alone is so raw with their sadness and yet full of their love for each other is deep, and with the detail it completes this image.

There are many theories now about the endings and DLC. Most people think there is far more to it than we're seeing, and that the ending we're seeing isn't exactly real.

Of course, it gives off emotions which have been flooding ceaselessly since the end of the game.

I just finished the game not long ago, and I too was a bit disapointed with the ending. my LI was Garrus, too. But I still think the ME series were fantastic, and beautiful in their own way -- while the ending was disappointing, it didn't ruin it for me.

Had this in my folder for a while, couldn't comment until now that I have finished the game.
I know how you feel, but I am absolutely sure that this is not the end, Bioware is just messing with our heads, they have done it before and are likely on doing so again.
Will not let those last 5 minutes ruin the game for me, it was too good for that, there will be more......

I so wished this happend!! Hurts knowing this didn't but the cliff hanger were Shepard breaths and she moves slightly just gives hope that they could possibly have a part 4 and with a small segment of Garrus and her hack together or some way for them to be reunited!!
Yeah its a big huge wish and most likely won't come true but still xD
