wow, that is one beautiful kestrel if i'm not mistaken. :3

Yeah they have loads of nice birds on display at Lincoln castle and since it was an open day yesterday we went up there for the fur meet. They all have a panel next to their perch that tells you want they are but i forgot to take a picture of that to remind me. I was so mesmerized by the fact that I had such a stunning bird right in front of me practically showing himself off for the camera. I was still snapping away when the rest of the meet had wandered off and left me :) One of the birds managed to escape and was sat in a tree and the guy was trying to coax it back down with a bit of meat.

lol, i've been to a bird sanctuary once.
a humming bird got out and landed on my shoulder, at the time i freaked out a bit buut thinking back on it it was an amazing moment for me.
