Georgiy getting his drink was indeed pretty funny. And I'm not surprised he's got some powerful arms with just kneading dough. My aunt, who is short and chubby, has baked homemade cakes for a living for as long as I have a memory, and all that dough kneading and stuff has made her arms so strong she could clothesline and knock out a raging bull. So not only does it give him a good arm workout, it also makes edible goodies and earns him money. He's definitely got it good.

Maybe he should challenge his father to armwrestling and give Vlad a big surprise!

I moved so I would hate my job less... While I hate that the hours make it hard to do lots of other things that are important to me, 50 hours a week here still makes me hate life less than 40 hours a week at the old job. Plus I still get hints of a social life here and there, and things to look forward to, like a trip to California that is not just for con in May.

Can't wait to see what sort of misadventures Vlad winds up getting into with Todd... :)

So much to laugh at here... I could have guessed right away that Vlad would consider whatever drinks Ty offered to be "pansy" water. I find myself quite wishing Sam would show up though, or Becky, just to have someone run interference--or else help Cody get even more overwhelmed and taken down a peg or two. :P

Georgiy's fru-fru drink is only outdone by Cody 'accidentally' getting the vodka (that had to be intentional right? Though the question is if Vlad got Ty to replace Karl's water so that at least someone else in the family had a
"proper" one--especially his brother--and Cody got it by mistake, or if Vlad made sure to replace Cody's specifically). And then how hard his cousin can pound him, all explained by his bakery job, of course. Georgiy would get along very well with my snow leopard Garrett!

I love how Georgiy seems dumb, but is really just naive and clueless about the cultural differences. Although I have to wonder if that jeans joke was really for real--we know from earlier that Georgiy actually is smart and has just been playing dumb to keep from being inducted into the KGB, so surely he must know the word "genes"...
