"Supreme confidence in the face of utter insanity."
This is the maxim that most singularly personifies Reyers "Rey" Ingraham, the ninth member of Maxwell's created family. Usually bright in demeanor, playful in nature, and strikingly random, he displays no fear and forges ahead full-throttle in everything that he does, whether it's a task as complex as extreme mountain climbing or as simple as having a chat with someone on the street corner. He seems to have a penchant for going for long walks at night just to see what sort of night-life is about and is always looking to meet new people.
Reyers is the "knight" of the family and acts as its protector should something or someone threaten the house or any of its residents. To that end, along with his self-confidence Reyers houses a powerful protective instinct and will go to great lengths to help those that he takes a liking to.
Vore stats: Active pred, passive-to-active prey; The nature of Reyers and his abilities (shown below) necessitate having a lot of energy to burn, which means that he has a hefty appetite, although honestly he more partakes in vore for the fun of it. Similarly to his protective streak, the more he likes someone, the more active he becomes in his pursuit of such activities with them, either as prey or pred. As part sea-otter he naturally loves to swim, so water-filled bellies to dive into are a bonus!
Abilities 'n such: Despite his look, Reyers is only partially sea otter in form. He is, in fact, part-otter, part-elemental essence (Elemes, in short). In this particular case, an air elemental. This gives him some nifty abilities, like producing air currents from his body, or dissolving down to elemental-grade air when digested, allowing him to reform his solid body elsewhere (at the cost of a hearty belch from his predator). He can reform living things that he consumes in a similar fashion, though he still gets a net gain in energy from eating and reforming so his prey is left feeling more tired than usual for a time.
And yes, the sword is named Rexbarth. I'm not sure why.
