Here is an experiment.
One entire drawin in a single layer, meaning I didn't ink and applied color from the beggining. Like drawing in a real paper.
I delayed a lot more, like... 3 times the normal. But i liked the result.
Ok, I admit it, I used an extra layer for the sword to keep transparency but that's it XD

Zero was overrated in MMX. Especially in retrospective. But he definitely earned his reputation in MMZ. He's one of my absolute favorite characters and frankly, I am glad to see him drawn in his MMZ form.
My only regret regarding MMZ (and Zero in general) is the derailment in MMZ4.
But what can I say?
Very, very nice pic. I also like how you also included the Buster Shot handgun in the pic ; to me, it's just as emblematic of MMZ Zero as the Z-Saber. Who knew that an ordinary handgun, previously owned by Milan, would become such a tool of destruction in the hands of Zero?
