The thing is, while I've written all the way through to the actual ending of Neighbors, none of the last five and a half chapters were inspired by  duroc's Thursday Prompts. So instead of the actual end of the story, here's a little scene that isn't in the story but is inspired by the phrase "the end."

As for Neighbors, Kazka Press has a call out for what they call flash novels: SF or fantasy works from 35,000 to 50,000 words. The deadline for submissions is the end of April, so I'll go through the thing a couple more times, then send it in!
