Here we go. My pokemon card collection March 2012. I have another 2 full tins since this photo, I plan to take some photos of the individual folders and tins sometime so you can really see the extent of my collection - I just snapped this photo quickly when I had my cards out one time (they hide away in my closet underneeth other boxes that I use more often - mostly containing furs and fleece ;_; )
So, there's somewhere in the region of 4000 cards here, including some 100 ultra rares and 300 holos, as well as maaaany other rares and reverse holos. These range from the 1st - 5th gen, the majority of which being 1st and 3rd.
Pretty sure there's 9 tins, 2 ultra-pro folders (black and white sets), a pikachu, a pokemon (HUGE) and a sonic folder full, a miniature one with my black and white promos (I intend to fill it with ALL THE PROMOS from BW.) and then 2 or 3 other folders with lots of random cards in. Then there's 5 booster boxes full of loose cards from the sets, and a couple of 3rd gen tins, full. Because I collect and don't play, I have sets in different places and stuffs - it needs to be organised better but it seems, despite all the time I always put into ordering them, there's always SO MUCH MORE ordering to do and I don't get very far ;_; ... They've been neglected for a couple of months while I've been busy though >:

nice ot see that you still have some of the original cards xD
my dad still has a collection of all of the original card (both english and japanese) of the first generation of pokemon in a drawer somewhere
I used to have a lot as well, but I sold them all on ebay and to a random person at the FX con

Oooooooh I have SO many cards. I've got a near complete entire first generation, with SOOO many doubles. Unfortunately I lack mint condition cards as I've only turned to collecting them in complete sets a year or so ago, and going back and buying them in mint condition now is so hard and they're very expensive, when I have most of them in not so perfect condition from my childhood days.
I mostly collect wolf transformers now, and they get expensive too xD
particularly since so many of them are from older series (G1, beast wars, etc), as well as convention exclusives (one from botcon 1997 or so, and others from more recent conventions that were only available for purchase at those conventions)
