I had a lot of fun constructing this robot. I think part of that is knowing they have a stable and slightly familiar anatomy to them, but are flexible enough that no one will critique you on your proportions. :P

hahaha I never thought about that, but its so true. Once in a while you'll see little guys like these around Pittsburgh's art institutes or whatever. Steel City = Steel Bots. They've always sort of reached out to me lol. When's phase two?

Soon! I've downloaded all the textures I'll need. The grey you see here represents one type of texture. There will be at least three different metals on this guy.

The last time I used texture was on that Castlevania Devil thing. I'd like to think that was a step in the right direction. I mean to say, I feel as if I'm coming closer to using Photoshop to its full technical potential.

I'll also be experimenting with a nifty brush set I got off of dA. I'm excited to see how much I can polish this puppy. :D
