My work from yesterday. Sorry it's a phone-camera picture - god they're so crap. I'll have to get the proper digital camera working again...
Todo: Earfins, eye whites (the irises are going to be socket plush eyes, horns, hornsockets
To Pattern: Body, limbs, wings, tail
The head seam + jaw seams are still open because I am waiting on an order of teal to sew spikes in. I can probably do the rest of his head details without sewing them up.
Expect more progress over the next few days, I'm in a sewing mood and I plan to utterly mow this one down. =3

Hah, NICELY spotted! How'd you know I was working with Minky? =D I love sewing with it so much, though! If it has a tendency to move when you sew, flatten the pile out before pinning your pieces together. I typically give it a 1/2cm seam allowance =3 If you flatten the pile before you machine it (give it about a 1cm seam though, on the machine...) the sewing machine will just yum it up!
However, I'm handsewing this area... So many tiny curves, darts and details. This head only has 6 pattern bits in it, but like, a million darts.
