Another rp character,this time from a different pokemon rp but in the same transformative region as Auron is from.

Partner: Coal the charmander

Ryker was a sickly child, abandoned by his blood parents when still just a baby. A trainer who went by the name Blaze Phoenix rescued the lad and decided to take care of him and raise him as his own. Ryker grew up in a strange household, his big bro as he called Blaze, was a very energetic and intense personality with a love for everything pokemon, trainer, manga, anime...anything interesting and exciting. This lead to many of his pokemon and even Ryker taking after some of the quirks, and the style of always having some form of shades or goggles for their pokemon and themselves.

However, Ryker was not able to become a trainer due to his illness, and could only leave the house to attend school. Blaze often left for long periods of time to do his duty as a trainer of what he claimed was some regard. Each time he'd return with more medicine to help his little bro out, and each time he'd come back with grand stories. But, when Ryker was in his teens his big bro suddenly vanished, never returning from a journey he had left on.

Ryker was heartbroken,but determined to continue his schooling and overcome his illness. Passing school and training himself and his partner, Coal, the charmander left to him by his bro, he worked up enough strength to set out on his own journey despite his illness. He knew that doing so was a death sentence, his bro had warned him if he had gone out on a journey he would lose his life, but Ryker was determined to find his brother, have as much fun as possible, meet as many pokemon as possible, and take the championship before his time ran out.

Little did he know what his illness would bring him, his life surely would end, but not as he thought it would. Such a change would not stop his determination, even as a growlithe he's determined to do what he set out to do, even if it's a lot harder to take a puppy seriously as a trainer.
