I keep experimenting with different styles to find my own.
Also, I tried practicing a different pose. Just for the hell of it.
Also, I think I'm sticking with this for my sona.

you can try to start drawing scenes, not just characters on blanc background - try interiors or landscapes, but better those you are familiar with in your life, not just photos.
then you can try drawing complicated light and other stuff that could make your pictures look more emotional.
